TIF Vs Laparoscopic Fundoplication surgery

What is the long term out come from a Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) Vs a Laparoscopic Fundoplication surgery which I understand they wrap the top part of the stomach Vs using a device to staple and tighten the value.

My questions are:
What is the risk Vs one over the other?
What is the record Vs one over the other?
How long has TIF been being done?
I see the diet after the surgery is really a liquid diet for along period, is that true?
Any comments or recommendation.

All the test have been completed and I have been advise I need one or the other (VA does not do TIF in Seattle they only do Laparoscopic Fundoplication) so I would have to try and get community care for the TIF to be done.
