Tests being scheduled

Posted by krobi @krobi, Jul 16 9:45am

When I had my initial call with Mayo I was told to plan on being here for at least 3 days and that I would be getting a new MRI. The MRI wasn’t scheduled prior to me arriving and there are currently no openings. I’m on an escalation list to get me in this week. It frustrating that the test wasn’t scheduled prior to my arrival since I was told I would need one. Anyway know a way to get the appt pushed through so I can get the MRI before I have to drive home?

Hi @krobi
You didn’t mention what location you are at. I am a patient at Rochester. It has worked for me, try going to the location your schedule says you will check in for your test. Ask them if they can work you in earlier. Every department/appointment is different and they are the ones who will know.

Is this day 1 of your visit? Do you have other appointments?

I wish to speak with someone to schedule my appointments, and to help find accomodations( I will come with my son David) and direct to airlines to schedule flights.
What number should I call to get in touch with such a person?
