Testicular pain2

Posted by golfermike @golfermike, 18 hours ago

Gentlemen,
I had a robotic prostatectomy four weeks ago. One week ago I began to have significant testicular pain. Odd, since I did not experience this the first three weeks after surgery. Testicles are tender and get progressively more sore during day, making it more painful to move around. There is no swelling, bruising, internal bleeding or fever to note. Advice or recommendations are welcome. Thank you. Golfer Mike

How well have you stuck to the "light duties... no lifting" recommendations?
I did pretty much nothing for the bulk of the 6 weeks post-op.

Thanks for the response. Overdoing it at work is possible. I will try to slow it down. I am probably am putting in 30 office hours a week at this point. Maybe need to back off?

I had my surgery in September & I still haven't worked a full day.

My timeframe was longer than 4 weeks. It was about 6 months. Mostly in the right testicle. I had some pain into the abdomen. Turns out I had epididymitis. Its an inflammation of the cord leading to the testicle. It took about 3 weeks of Cipro.
