Anyone have an ESD? What is recovery like?

Yes. I am in hospital at John's Hopkins right now. Procedure was done by Dr. Mouen Kashab. I was lucky to get him. My polyp was large and removed in pieces. The location was in the duodenum which has thin walls that are highly vascular. The reason for two days in hospital are fear of bleeding, my age 77 and that I live out of state. I feel great today. They just started on clear liquids. I remember nothing about the procedure and have no pain. .
