Tarsal Tunnel Release

I'm having tarsel tunnel surgery January 14th. I've been dealing with it for 2+ years. 1st doctor diagnosed it at arthritis. It progressively got worse and they kept trying deferent medication. I finally went to an ortho doctor and had a never study done and after 3 injections nothing has helped. All that for .....alot of information I've read says if not treated early your chance of relief drops tremendously. Has anyone had any experience with what I dealing with? Thanks

What symptoms do you have that you hope to have relieved by the tarsal tunnel surgery?

Burning and shooting sharp pain across the bottom of my feet. I also experience a tingling sensation at times. It starts first thing in the morning and gets worse as thru out the day.
