Synovial Sarcoma: forearm amputated. Now I have lung mets
I’ve been living with synovial sarcoma since 2017. In December 2018, I had to undergo an amputation of my left forearm where the original tumor was. For a while, I thought that was the end of my battle, but in 2022, we discovered another tumor in my lung. By January 2023, I had to go through a lobectomy. Unfortunately, the cancer kept coming back, again and again.
I’ve already gone through chemotherapy and different medications, and even tried herbal treatments since they’re common here in the Philippines. Sadly, nothing has really worked.
I’m just wondering: is there anyone out there going through the same thing?I just wanted to connect with you.

I had a sarcoma removed from my liver 5 yrs ago. It metastasized to my right lung 2 years later and I had a lung resection. Six months later I had nodules in both lungs. I opted out of chemotherapy or radiation. I went to Immunocine in Cancun for dendritic cell therapy in November of 24. To date no new nodules and I feel great. I have a rescan in 2 weeks
