Stories told by Dad and the consequences of listening
My dad told me a story about an incentive program offered at work to encourage workers to share ideas with the company that might save time or improve in any way the current methodology at work. Dad told a coworker this idea he had and the coworker turned it in as his own and got a health monetary reward. Because of that Dad told me to NEVER SHARE THE SECRETS OF A NEW INVENTION WITH ANYONE!
I invented a solution that when used on a bathroom mirror wouldn’t fog up the mirror during a hot shower! Dad was very impressed but when he asked me how I made it, I wouldn’t tell him.
