Statin side effects

Switched from Atrovastatin to Rosuvastatin 8 days ago and still experiencing intense body aches and pains

So your aches aren't a result of statins then? Stop taking it for 2 weeks and see if the aching stops.

I would not stop statins without my cardiologist blessing...I thought stopping them was dangerous

Then go back to Atorvastatin if you are really sure that the new one is responsible for your pains. Is that a typical or uncommon side effect of Rosuvastatin? I'd a been in my doc's ear after a couple days.
