Stage 2A: Finished treatment, but worry about recurrence

2a and what other statistics. I was diagnosed in early July 2021. ER+/PR-. HER2
+, then genetic Brca2.
Have you had any treatment or is the medical team letting you decide.
I think more info is needed.
Breast cancer is scary. Thought of reoccurrence too.
@katgob Had surgery/treatment in 2024. ER/PR + HER2-. They didn't think genetic testing was necessary. I feel good most days but I think it always in back of mind.
March 8,2025 2A er+Her2- had 6 rounds chemo and then a lumpectomy with lymph node(14) removal in October 2025. I declined radiation. On Anastrozole and Kisqali. Thought of recurrence never really leaves my mind.

Genetic testing i have heard can be $250.00. I was the first in my family, but City of Hope asked me if I wanted to be tested. I must say i do not think about it. I had a dbl mastectomy. Also, genetics and possibly the Lynparza took led me to MDS. Myelodysplastic syndrome. Then a Bone marrow transplant.
They do have test to tell you circulating cancer cells. Signatera is one. Not all insurance pays for it.
