Splenic Structure Found in CT Scan-Angiogram

I'm a breast cancer patient, and had a CTA done on my abdomen in preparation of DIEP Flap reconstructive surgery. The radiologist found a "2.4 cystic structure" on my spleen, but didn't describe it in any detail. Although my oncologist is not concerned and refers to the structure as a cyst, I have some concerned. After researching splenic cysts and tumors, I understand that malignant splenic metastases can be either solid or cystic structures. If anyone else has/had a splenic cystic structure, please let me know what your doctor recommended. Thanks.

Splenic cyst 2 cm noted on CTscan in 2008. In 2017 it was 3.5 cm. April 2018 has double in size to 8cm invading most of spleen. Consulted 2 surgeons with widely divergent opinions. First said remove entire spleen then changed his opinion to marsupilization or unroofing of cyst. Second surgeon says do nothing. I am 66 year old female 108 lbs. I hope someone has experience with this and can offer advice.

I have a 9.3cm splenic cyst. The radiologist said to not do do anything unless it bothers me. I am worried that is not the right thing to do.. that is s large mass is a small area. Iv been reading and I don’t know what to do.

It definitely is confusing. In all my research thru medical journals, a splenic cyst that is enlarging is a rare occurrence; therefore there is not a set protocol. As I mention the two surgeons I consulted have widely differing opinions. Please let me know if U consult a surgeon. Blessings
