spine surgery needed after reclast infusion

Posted by jmmjml @jmmjml, 7 hours ago

I had a reclast infusion two months ago after two years of tymlos. Now I have neck and arm pain and my Mri indicates that I will need a c3-7 cervical fusion. I don't know when it will be safe to undergo that as I believe just having reclast will result in a failed fusion. Anyone have any experience or answers to when it is ok to undergo this after reclast. If you need cox to be a certain number....what is that?
Thank you in advance so much!!!

jmmjml, sorry to hear that you are headed for cervical fusion, but this article is encouraging in regard to your question. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4792656/
