Have you been in touch with your surgical team about this yet?
I would think that new urinary incontinence post op is a red flag to see or call your surgeon right away.
garvity3 and laura1970, make excellent points. Contacting the surgeon's office might help you get better pain intervention (medication) as well.
"The worst pain is generally over by 4 weeks after surgery. Pain is likely to continue to decrease gradually, but some patients continue to have pain 3 to 6 months after surgery." https://www.spine-health.com/treatment/spinal-fusion/spinal-fusion-surgery-recovery-1-3-months-after#:~:text=Spinal%20Fusion%20Surgery%20Recovery:%201,stress%20at%20the%20fused%20segments:
Incontinence after fusion is not unusual and is usually temporary. It could indicate something that needs medical attention.
How long since your surgery.
Yes, definitely a red flag!
Surgery fixed the pain? Dear @tratra
Last year,my doctor - who helps my body and part of my brain-injury 12 years ago - fixed the pain was gone. His surgery in the top of my bottom/ back turned about 5-6 1/w inches o my left-back cause the pain was done - that comment.
3 years before that I feel down in my garage one my left & right rear-ends. I could not cutting the grass; couldn’t walking outside of my doggy; falling down 12+ days a week… and on… well thankfully, that doctor gave me a choice: get different meds or get a surgery? Well, again that surgery got rid of pain - that very day…
Ok, I had my balance is wrong. He didn’t help my balance problem, BUT we dives me 3 years today, but I exercise every 2 days. I still exercise my lifting & exercise my weight.
Thx,
Greg D. @greg1956
Greg…. Can you explain to the people reading your post what kind of surgery you had? Is it possible to proofread your posts? I am unable to understand anything you say.
