Spinal Neurosurgeon recommendations?
Anyone have any recommendations for a spine neurosurgeon? I am fused from l3-l5, now because of multiple cysts and spinal slippage I need to fuse l5S1 I have numbness and loss of feeling. We tried decompression, but it formed another cyst. Thanks!

You might mention where you live at the top of your post unless you’re willing to go anywhere. I had my fusions done with a spinal orthopedic surgeon. He has incredible training and was the top ortho resident at Northwestern I believe and schooled at Harvard. I’m in southern CA
Go to Dr. Steven Gogela in Lincoln Nebraska at Bryan West Hospital
I also live in Southern California and would appreciate your sharing the
surgeon’s name with me. In have Spondylolisthesis at L4/L5 and L5/S1 and have osteopenia as well so spinal surgery will be a bit more complicated for me due to the condition of my bones. Thanks!
WOW. OK his name is Dr Ethan Saadat. He practices at both Cedars Sinai and in Orange County at St Joseph Hospital in Orange. Both hospitals are next to his offices. Here's his page that tells you more about him. He operated on a friend who had spinal cysts too! I have severe degenerative disc disease. https://saadatspine.com/about/
Please tell Dr. Saadat that Sandra Meraz recommended him and PLEASE let me know how you like him. Which everyone does lol
Sanjay Ghosh MD at Senta Clinic in San Diego. He is a highly skilled and nationally recognized Neurosurgeon and performs all forms of spinal surgery. His bedside manner along with the efficiency and care of his staff is exceptional.
We live in Central Florida, any recommendations on a great neurosurgeon in Florida for spinal surgery ?
Dr. Stephen Pirris at Mayo/JAX. I have had three surgeries with him this year - all planned - and all successful.
I live in Westchester county New York, any recommendations for cervical surgeons in NYC or Westchester county area? Thanks
