Spinal meningioma at T12
I've been diagnosed with a 2cm T12 spinal meningioma and am scheduled for surgery next week. I am scare and would like to speak to someone who has been thru this. I am 63 and otherwise in good health.

Thanks for the info. I've found info out there but I haven't talked to any patients who have had this tumor or this surgery. I will be visiting with the doctors at the mayo clinic in 2 weeks for a second opinion.
Not sureI will get reply to this old post but I am wondering what happened with your thoracic meningioma surgery - how was your recovery - I just had same in July/23 with surgery and do not feel well. I had a spinal fusion as well. Any advice on recovery would be great, I feel like I will never get better with back pain and fusion spinal issues - I am not sure what to do.

Terrible - a chunk of my spine is missing, I have no nerve sensation in my entire upper back and there are many mobility limitations.
Oh no. I am sorry to hear this. What size was your mass and what did they do? And where? Is there any help for u?
