Spinal Cord Stimulation for CIPN
Last week, I had a spinal cord stimulation (SCS) implant done to help me better control my chronic CIPN pain. 14 years after chemotherapy did a number on my nerves, the spinal cord stimulation implant has, for the last week, almost completely shut down my CIPN pain. Before the SCS implant, I had tried every available drug, narcotics include, and Calmare therapy as well. Nothing worked. Now, I am almost completely pain free. I can sleep at night! If this procedure is available to you, I recommend it completely. Hooray for SCS.
