Solution for repeatedly dropping glass bottles
I have CIDP and I’m hoping someone can recommend a silicone sleeve that is universal, that will stretch over things like jelly jars and bottles of Worcester sauce, which seem to not be available in plastic bottles. I figure someone here repeatedly drops similar items and has found a solution. Tired of sweeping up broken glass every time my hand decides to stop working.

@jengiantkiller I wonder if any of these would help …? If you scroll down this page too, you will find other types/sizes of silicone sleeves. This is amazon.ca, but if you are in the States you could try amazon.com.

@jengiantkiller this are zany beer bottle covers, but might work - they seem to work for different sized beer bottles so may work for your condiment bottles too, perhaps …?

They have black bottle holders that go over your shoulder.
Glass container problems of anll shapes & sizes are a problem; so are china mugs and some food storage containers. I find that most of the available silicon sleeves are more focused towards insulating drink cans & bottles, and not built to address inadvertent slippage of the container from hand to floor. The problem also seems to be more associated with complete sleeves posing a too even grip surface, especially if wet. My wife has solved this problem for me years ago by just wrapping a few thick rubber bands around those slippery glass containers, bundled in the vicinity of where you would usually grip the container. Recently, I’ve purchased a bag full of some really fantastic assorted “tactical” rubber bands on Amazon, (see enclosed photo details), which are great for the purpose of providing a secure grip around anything from water glasses to large pickle jars. I’m sure you will find them helpful elsewhere in the house…
Good Luck & God Bless,

I was thinking the same thing as @kenhassen. I had found some large colored bands, but his are less expensive! See attached.
There are silicone universal “cuffs” that can help with dropping things. But I don’t know that the available options would fit Worcestershire sauce bottle or jelly jar. See attached for an option I found on Amazon, and two smaller pics that show how they might be used.
Some of these are really great ideas. I went with the hydro flask bottle slings. My reasoning the motor neuropathy causes tremors and my shaking hands like to drop a lot of things. . I can put it on my shoulder and still walk with my two canes. Also I can se bottled water because my hands shake and it spills down the front of me. I bought a bottle 40 ounce from Walmart that allows me to sip water. The bottle also fits in the bottle sling. It’s been great for me.
