Small fiber neuropathy??
Would love to hear if anyone has experienced burning sensation on both sides so neck. If so, what condition has been identified for you? I have had nerve conduction tests, MRI, X-rays yet nothing shows as a factor. Perhaps there is any underlying condition the doctors haven't examined. Would appreciate anyone's experiences. Have been dealing with this for almost a year. Gabapentin didn't work and not interested in trying Cymbalta to treat symptoms. Any ideas are appreciated.

Hi @searching345, Welcome to Connect. Sorry to hear you have been dealing with the neck pain for over a year with no answers. Here's some information that may be helpful if you haven't already seen it.
"Is it normal to have neck pain for a year?
Neck pain, or cervicalgia, can last from days to years, depending on the cause. Common causes include physical strain, poor posture, mental stress, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, herniated disk, pinched nerve, tumors and other health conditions."

Have you thought about seeking help at a teaching hospital or major health facility like Mayo Clinic?
Does the pain come after eating? I get a burning sensation after I eat certain foods. It is so painful that I have to use a heating pad to help with the pain.
The burning pain I had was associated with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome or CRPS.
