Slight swelling

It all started with cramps 19 months ago and slowly started pain. I take Pregabalin 25 mg at bed time. I have been noticing slight swelling on the outer side of both of my lower calves. It is very sore and painful. Is this kind of localized swelling and localized pain to touch common in Small Fiber Neuropathy?

I also have small fiber peripheral neuropathy. I had swelling in my legs but it wasn't painful. A vascular medicine doctor diagnosed me with lymphedema and I now wear compression socks to control the swelling. Have you discussed the swelling and pain with your doctor? Did they do any tests or have any suggestions?
