Slight increase in CA125

Posted by mharrill11951 @mharrill11951, 1 day ago

For the first time in 8 months my CA125 has increased from 4 to 5. I know that the number is low, but since it is my first increase since chemo, it is hard not to worry. I had seven rounds of chemo, complete hysterectomy, and am now on Avastin until June 2025. What should I watch besides the CA125 number? Thank you.

How often do you get tested for CA125 level? The very little increase you report is nothing to worry about. Do you get CT scans? Do you get your blood and urine checked before every infusion? Do you have other symptoms to report to your doctor?

I wouldn't worry about slight increases. These test look at your current levels and they do fluctuate

@mharrill11951 Does your oncologist order the CA125 tests? If yes, then have you talked with your oncologist about what this very slight increase might mean?
