Sigmoid Stricture

CT colonography shows stricture in sigmoid and tortuous colon. Has anyone had same conditions? How were you treated?

I also have sigmoid stricture and tortuous colon. My GI doctor sent me to Geisinger Advanced Endoscopy for Balloon Dilation in Oct 23. My stool went from smaller than my pinky finger to now the size of my thumb.

Thank you for your encouraging comments. Was the dilation performed by a colorectal surgeon? Were you sedated?
