Severe abdominal pain after IMRT radiation?
Anyone ever ecperienced severe abdominal pain and constipation after 6 docataxel chemotherapy treatments followed by 6 IMRT radiation treatments? It has been 15 months since the last radiation treatment and the abdominal pain continues to get worse.

I think you need to consult a gastroenterologist ASAP. It could have nothing to do with your prostate history.
Colonoscopies can be done at 15 months after radiation, especially after only 6 rounds of IMRT .

Are the pains sharp or dull / throbbing (like constipation) ? When I complained to my urologist, he sent me to a gastroenterologist.
I have had similar pains after proton, then they flat out stopped. Returned a few weeks later so I am getting flexible sigmoidoscopy.
