Setback in my diagnosis: Stage 2 changed to stage 3

How many rounds do you have?
Ask for medication for constipation and nausea (zofran ! Take it before the nausea comes it’s easier to stop this way). For constipation meta mucil?
Rest stay in bed when you are tired.
It will come by waves.
Stay strong !

they told me 2 days after my first chemo would be worse than the day after AND THEY WERE RIGHT! i do not feel like myself at all! my whole digestive/stomach area is affected...nausea, constipation, feeling full, tired , ect...

I have stage 4 esophageal cancer. It is responding well to chemotherapy and I am able to eat “normally” and walk four miles a day. I am very fortunate to have a loving and support wife that helps me deal with my condition. Stay positive and do what you can to support your treatments. Will your radiation therapy be combined with chemotherapy infusions? That worked really we for my husband prior to surgery.

1rst radiation treatment today...anxious

i start radiation this monday-5x a week except holidays...i start chemo this wednesday 1x a week ...ends on 1/3/23

So lung is normal but 1 lymph node is +
When do you start chemo ?

went for cat scan-results; enlarged 13mm gastrohepatic lymph node, 9mm distortion right lower lobe not morphologically suspicious-indeterminate-needs 3 month follow up
