Sending images to Mayo Clinic

Is there way to electronically upload CT/PET images to Mayo Clinic via MyChart. We have them on CD’s and would like to send it to Mayo for review prior to appointment.

@rsun, I suggest contacting a scheduler at the appointments office to inquire about the easiest and most reliable way to electronically send imaging studies to Mayo Clinic. Call the Mayo location you will be attending:

If where you are now has MyChart (By Epic) and Mayo has it too, you can just share the MyChart - no CD's needed. All the MyChart's can be shared between institutions, though I can't tell you all the steps. I did it a few years ago. Look in MyChart as to how to share, it wasn't that hard. They will have access to all your images and labs. I wasn't sure if where you are now has MyChart from your description.

Mayo might be able to upload your images. But they might try and charge you for the service, or charge you for reviewing them without an appointment. Only Mayo, though. I'm hoping its a mistake. There is common access through Epic. And Mayo is on Epicl Find out if the place where you had the images is on a sharing platform. If not, request that they send the CD.
If your appointment is too soon to use the medical records request, you could fed ex your images.
Many physicians don't look at your images until just before you arrive, or after.
I don't think there is a way for you to upload and send. But I'll be watching your responses for some clever way.

There was a link on my My Chart asking me if I wanted to share this with another institution I clicked “yes” and it was done. Also, the doctor said he could access my info but giving permission made it easier.
