Hi @abe09, welcome to the community of patients sharing experiences and supporting one another. If I understand correctly, you are wondering about effect of colon resection surgery on your serum lipid levels (total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels). Is that right?

Do you need this surgery in the near future? Do you have health conditions that require you to monitor your lipid levels?
