Seeking Mayo FL patients & family members for Advisory Council
Contribute to excellence at Mayo Clinic in Florida
As part of Mayo Clinic Florida's Hospital Expansion Project, we are seeking Mayo Clinic patients and family members to provide occasional feedback about new products, equipment, and systems that will be used in Mayo Clinic's new, state-of-the-art inpatient units.
Selected volunteers will form a Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to provide insights and patient-family perspectives that will improve service delivery and hospital patient experience at Mayo Clinic, Florida campus.
Your feedback is valuable and helps us get it right for patients and families coming to Mayo Clinic, Florida now and in the future.
Commitment
- The PFAC will meet 6-8 times over the next year.
- Meetings will be scheduled as needed with advance notice.
- Meetings may be held in person at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida or virtually by video call or both.
- You are expected to attend as many meetings as your availability allows.
Eligibility
To participate, you must be:
- A Mayo Clinic patient, who has received care at Mayo Clinic in Florida or a family member
- 18 years or older
- Able to participate in person or by video call (Zoom or similar)

The next virtual meeting for the Florida Patient & Family Advisors will be held tomorrow, August 7 at noon ET.
This meeting will focus on a digital whiteboard device that provides services and instructions to the patient while in a patient room. This request is searching for feedback from patients who have preferably been admitted and hospitalized in an inpatient setting at any time in the past at Mayo Clinic. If you or your loved one have been hospitalized, we appreciate your consideration in join this meeting. This meeting will be virtual.
