Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency (similar symptoms)?
In February of this year I was diagnosed with a pluri hormonal macro adenoma which stained for HGH and TSH. Emergence of major symptoms brought me to the ER multiple times prior to a cat scan finding it. Blood tests revealed my TSH was low and T3 T4 I think were said to be high. Basically thought it was hyperthyroid also. Shakes, muscle weakness, dizziness, headaches, sensitivity to light and sound, shortness of breath, anxiety/panic attacks, sleep issues and other odd symptoms. I had it partially removed on May 8th. Due to proximity to artery a portion remained which they are treating with Lanreotide. Right after surgery I think I began to feel a little better, panic attacks went away. Later I began to feel not well again. Thyroid levels returned to normal and hgh is normal. My symptoms have returned and are weakness, major fatigue, anxiety/panic, tingling lips, headache, dizziness, dark yellow urine and dry mouth, bloated when eating light meals and diahrea which may be due to Lanreotide. My daughter suggested electrolytes which seem to lessen the nausea and headaches a bit, Doctor is going to do a ACTH stimulation test in October to see if I have an issue with my adrenal gland. Has anyone had pituitary issues that affected their adrenal glands with the affirmations symptoms? How was it treated. I’ve been miserable for 7 months and praying I can get whatever is wrong with me identified and resolved or mitigated.

I had similar symptoms but it took 6 months to get into the specialist. My test prior done by my PCP indicated my thyroid had shifted from hypothyroid to hyperthyroid ( until I weaned off of levothyroxine). The thyroid specialist suspects I had thyroiditis. A temporary shift apparently. He took measurements and then put me on minute doses of levothyroxine. Pcp had not been following my thyroid health to that detail. He also did a better job on medication instructions.
Jeshaw- thanks for your response. It seems like much of this stuff is intertwined and if out of limits can make a person very ill. I hope you’re feeling better and on your way to recovery. All the best
Thyroid is the least of my worries as I have stage 4 leiomyosarcoma metastasized into liver. Just finished my six cycles of chemo ( std of care type and dose) and now will start maintenance chemo .
Sorry for your struggles. You have a lot going on. I hope you can find healing and support.
I'm setting in the infusion department right now getting the test done in KY. Prayers for us 🙏💕🙏 Will not know results until my last blood test is done here waiting 🙏
All the best to you.
