Searching for Suburban Cancer Clinics
I am looking for suburban cancer clinics that are situated where patients in rural areas and under-served communities would have access. An additional plus would be that these clinics have experience with conducting small-scale clinical studies/trials.
A medical device developer has a radiotherapy treatment that requires use of EUS for its implantation so if it capable doing that or travel to a facility capable of doing the EUS would be no more than an hour away from the clinic. Any thoughts on smaller community-based clinic that you have had treatment at or participated in a study anywhere in the US that satisfies this criteria?

How about UAB in Birmingham, Ala.
I know there are at least two noted physicians there offering pancreas cancer treatment.
The company that is proposing the trial is trying to focus on community-based smaller clinics for addressing the needs of underserved communities. They are looking for clinics in locations where travel is not burdensome in getting to major settings. Ideally the clinic site would be able to do an EUS procedure as this is needed to insert alpha particle emitting tiny hollow tubes into the pancreatic tumor for destroying it.
Do you know if UAB has some suburban or rural clinics as part of their health system network and a contact name of that organization? That would be very helpful
