Rotator cuff tear after mastectomy surgery

Hi everyone, I am new to this group and am so glad I have found someone to share my experience with. I was diagnosed with Er+,PR+.Her- multifocal invasive mammary carcinoma with lobular features and distal carcinoma in situ. One sentinel node positive, yet had all axillary nodes removed. In addition to suffering from left arm Lymphedema, I also have suffered a rotator cuff tear. Has anyone else been diagnosed with a rotator cuff tear after breast surgery?

Welcome to MayoConnect! By any chance did you have radiation following surgery? Rotator cuff issues sometimes happen due to the positioning for it.
