Reverse shoulder replacement

Hi has anyone had a reverse shoulder replacement? When my saw my doctor on the 28th after he had reviewed the MRI and CT scan he said I needed a labrum repair and arthritic cleanup I just got the request form for surgery and it says total shoulder replacement is this an error or did he change his mind without telling me?
I'm upset.
