Stage IV colorectal cancer spread to peritoneum: Treatment options?

Recently diagnosed with stage IV ascending colon cancer with spread to the peritoneum and pleura. Any new treatment options?

Stage IV colorectal cancer and now in T4,T8,T9 and L1

Anyone with experience on next steps and symptoms of the above disease? Metastatic stage IV colorectal now in spine and extensive spread to peritenium!

Margaret, if I'm understanding correctly, were you diagnosed and treated for colorectal cancer and now it has returned in the spine and peritoneum? What treatment is being recommended for you?

Hello Margaret. I'm sorry to hear of the spread of your colorectal cancer to your spine and peritoneum. In my case it spread to my liver and then the lungs but both were treated successfully. I regret, therefore, to be unable to assist with your query but wish you all the best for a successful outcome. Martin.

These mets are hard to find and treat…there are options…hope you have an oncologist you really trust…sometimes a second opinion can really help. And sometimes 2 of them can work together…Wish you all the best .

Hi! Original diagnosis stage IV Colo rectal adenoma carcinoma with signet ring markings. 1st trmt 5 FU and 3 months later spreading to spine and more peritoneium. Dec. added the FOLFOX regimen and Zometa. On Mon offered systemic Irinketan (IRI), plus Zometa and diaherra meds 😢!

My sister took her 2nd round yesterday! Diaherra and she’s winded walking from living room to kitchen! Thx firs asking!
