Really really sick?
So I don't feel good at all.. it started with a sore throat and not liking the taste of certain liquids. But then the next 2 days felt exhausted and kinda hot but when I got someone to feel my head, there was no fever. I also had both a wet and dry cough. (I don't have access to a thermometer as of now.) Now it's today and I'm super exhausted, super lightheaded and just very tired. I still have a cough but it's not as bad. I don't feel like drinking or really eating anything. Can I have some advice on what to do?

First thing you need to forse yourself to drink water so you want get dehydrated.
That could be why you are lightheaded and try to sip on some chicken soup for some energy. And if you need to go to the Dr.
Praying you feeling better soon 🙏
Hi @imnotthere666, I hope you’re feeling better this morning. It sounds like you’ve caught yourself a nasty cold or virus. I don’t know where you live, but in the northern hemisphere, it’s winter and prime time for respiratory illnesses such as flu, RSV or Covid. These things usually hang around for a week or so. Worse the first few days with fever or just feeling gross. Then a cough develops and can linger for a couple of weeks. Our bodies are pretty good at fighting these illnesses…it just takes time. You love video games so think of your illness this way. It’s your body against the virus! The ammunition you need is rest, hydration and food to help your immune system fight whatever illness has invaded its space. It’s up to you to do the rest. ☺️
As @blessedsista24 mentioned, drinking water is important to stay hydrated. It helps loosen the congestion in your chest. Try to aim for 1 8oz glass every hour or so for at least 8 hours. Sometimes over the counter pain medications such as Tylenol or Advil can help ease some of the symptoms of feeling so miserable. If your symptoms don’t ease up, a trip to Urgent care might be a good idea. They can test you for strep throat, covid or influenza.
You mentioned in your bio that you’re 15. If you’re living at home, is there a parent or guardian around who can take you to Urgent care?

So uh update. I ate some chicken noodle last night and I feel so much better today. I'm gonna go to the doctor on Monday if I'm not completely better. Thanks for the support yall
Looks like the old adage of eating Mom's chicken soup for a cold/flu is still good advice. Hope you are feeling better soon.
I swear by classic or generic listerine, the brown one. gargle it when a tickle comes on in your throat. I read about it during covid, which I never got.
