Re-attempting ESD

Hi. I am on dialysis (28 years) having Chronic Liver Disease as well for about 19 years. Well to moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma in the GE Junction, Stage 1-2, not spread anywhere else. Resection did not succeed due to heavy bleeding. 28 sessions of radiation done. 60% of the tumour still remains. Still not spread.

My GI team did an EUS yesterday and believe they should attempt another ESD taking adequate precautions to control the bleeding that happened the first time. They will also have a surgeon on standby if there is a hole after resecting the tumour.

Did anyone go through something similar? Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
