PRP injections for neuropathy in your feet?
Has anyone had PRP injections for neuropathy in your feet? I have had chemo induced neuropathy from 32 intrathecal treatments through an Ommaya reservoir in my head. 8 rounds in hospital intravenous. They said my neuropathy and brain fog would go away in 3 months. Eight yrs later it seems to be getting worse. So many scams about neuropathy. Has anyone tried this, and did it help? Thanks

What is PRP?
I have know people where this helped with ligament repair. It is used in orthopedics. This research article discusses its use in nerve repair. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10997806/
Thank you. Reading about PRP helps and there is a lot of information. I am hopeful that someone that has gone through with the PRP shots will reply. Firsthand experience would be more comforting.
Platelet rich plasma.

I have had PRP therapy done in my ankle (bone spur in my tendon) and in my hip (I don't quite qualify yet for hip replacement). It helped considerably with the pain in my ankle but did nothing for my hip. I'm not sure how it would ever help numbness unless they believe the blood can repair the nerves???
I will find out more tomorrow. What I have read they believe it could help nerve renewal. I would not be interested in a temporary fix.
Do you know of any possible downsides to the injections?
I believe there is another thread on this...someone in the community had PRP, try searching for it or maybe someone else has the thread.
I spent about $9000 on it and it DID NOT work. I had pain in feet and legs. I am non diabetic.
I saw them yesterday and was not impressed. They also wanted $9000 with no guarantee. Were also selling machines, vitamins. I wanted some kind of test to show my neuropathy. I had one at my neurologist years ago. There test was very underwhelming. The concept of PRP sounds good but needs some work, I think. I will keep on looking for answers.
