Prolia Dr. Recommended after first Dexa scan

I am 67 and confused and worried about my teeth and later rebound when discontinuing.
I recently had a first Prolia injection(Dr. recommended) . No problem.
Researching to try to see if this is my best choice as I am not so sure hearing about the rebound and people losing teeth scares me.
I have had Gi issues most of my adult life and also have Coronary Heart Disease. I am limited
On what I can take.
My spine t-scores -3.2 in most spots. Hip not as bad but not good at - 2.6.

I hurried in to get going on a treatment not doing my research first as I am a Housekeeper still employed.

Anyone else out there that is on a different type of treatment that works with GI issues and Coronary Artery Disease?

I feel if I am going to change course I need to do it before a second Prolia Injection as then I would worry about rebound issues.

Appreciated your comments!!

I have been taking prolia for a few years now and I do not have any side effects. I have not had any problems with my teeth I do have a bad curvature of the spine from birth which causes me pain and some bad arthritis which causes aches and pain but I am 87 so I expect some problems

I hear you on the scary side effects but I think we need to remember that the really bad ones are pretty rare. As far as the rebound effect, it’s why the recommendation is to take something during the holidays. I felt the same way but decided finally decided I had to trust I would not get those side effects.
