I'm not a medical professional so take my comments with a grain of salt. I've been taking L-Citrulline since about month 4 after reading about it on this blog and checking into it a bit. I've been trying to eat well, take a quality multivitamin (Costco/Kirkland), magnesium supplement (Costco/Kirkland), L-Citrulline (NOW), and exercise regularly. I also used daily 5mg Cialis (generic) and on demand 100mg Viagra (generic) when trying to have sex. Plus I used the vacuum pump early on for blood flow (never worked for me for sex). With that full picture, I had ED after NS RARP 17 months ago. It has slowly improved until about at 15 months I was back to normal. I don't know but I think the most important factors to my recovery (in order) were a highly skilled surgeon, Cialis & Vigra (Viagra on an empty stomach & wait 1 hour), pump, magnesium & vitamins, L-Citrulline. That said, I've continued everything except the pump to this day (17 months) since I hate to mess with success. I discontinued the pump when I didn't think I needed it any longer as nighttime erections were happening. I usually took 1,500mg of L-Citrulline morning and evening, although lately I've dropped down to 750mg. Does it help? I have no idea if it really helps or not. Until about month 15 (2 months ago) I still had a lot of anxiety whenever I'd try to have sex, so I really didn't want to mess with my protocol. At this point I'm much more confident, but a piece of me still hates to mess with success. That said, I'll probably start tapering off on the L-Citrulline at some point (or maybe not). None of these pills bother me, nor do I think they're bad for me, so I'm inclined to keep using them. To answer your question, I get my L-Citrulline off Amazon. I picked the manufacturer "NOW" since I recognized the brand name and the price was reasonable. 180 veg capsules (750mg) are something like $22. If all this hadn't worked for me, my plan was to move on to the shots. But I got lucky so I never had to do that. BTW, I didn't do a lot of research on the brand so don't read too much into me using the "NOW" brand. That said, I haven't had any reason to look further. If you find out differently please let me know. Best wishes.

3 ReactionsMy Urologist actually put me on L-Citrulline the same time he put me on 5mg Tadalafil - 30 days prior to surgery and for a year after. I don't know if it helps, but it doesn't hurt. I get mine from Amazon.
