Possible cellulitus an hernia in groin area. Any suggestions

Have a swollen toe, red, now swelling is above my ankle. 5 days ago woke up midnight eith severe case of chills..no acheness. Went to er an was give shots for nausea an chills. I'm retired but work 2 days a week at a local golf course, on my feet for 7 hours each day. Noticed the swelling that afternoon an notified Dr. We had been keeping an eye on the toe. Scheduled an mri in 3 days an am taking 2 antibiotics. Any thoughts or suggestions? Just found this site an found it very informative..thanks to everyone!
