Pluvicto and platelet count

My husband has had 3 Pluvicto infusions. His side effects have been minimal and there was a PSA decrease with each infusion. He just had his labs done prior to the 4th infusion next week. Unfortunately, his platelet count dropped to 122. He can still have the fourth infusion. I am trying to stay in the moment, but am wondering about what will happen if this continues to drop. I know the Pluvicto dosage may need to be changed or the infusions may need to end . I am wonder what kind of lab numbers they would be looking at.

@lee1447, how are you doing? Have your husband's platelet levels recovered? How did the 4th infusion go?

Colleen, thank you for asking. I have been researching the issue with the low platelet count and this is one of the lab levels that can definitely decrease with
Pluvicto. I wish there was a way we could bring the count up!

Thanks to this forum, I have kept my “anxiety “ under control! He did complete his fourth infusion. Based on the results, at this time, he is in the top 33% who have good results. If the platelets get too low, they said the dose may be modified or the treatment may be postponed. We certainly hope he can complete the last 2 infusions!

Hi, after going through radiotherapy, Zytiga& Docetaxel I thought I would just move on to Pluvicto but concerns about my kidneys have arisen. My urinary habits seem to have changed since I dropped my steroid count a few weeks ago & my kidney function numbers have decreased too. Anyone else experienced similar. Thanks & good luck to all on this journey
