Oh God, someone please help me!! 4 months post fusion l4-5. Failed TLIF fusion only. 4 week check up was great! Surgeon said I was healing above average and we were all so thrilled. Light pt was suggested. I was walking short distances and doing great! Surgeon said to start walking up to a mile. Bam! Worst anterior thigh pain ever! Stairs are the devil's spawn. Lyrica worked great for one week. It was so blissful! Then I started PT. Bam. Worst thigh pain ever. I'm stumped. I cannot suffer like this any longer it is taking a serious toll on my mental health! Did I mention how much it hurts? Walking with a cane. 64 f. L4-5 fusion July 11.

@celia16. That is not it but thanks. The pain covers the front of my thighs from knee to hip.

I had a L5-S1 fusion 11 years ago. the back and leg pain is still there. In fact, it got worse than before the fusion.
I work with a pain specialist and the only thing that lets me live a semi-normal life is Norco 4 times a day. I cannot walk a mile or travel like I loved to do in the past. I was recommended to try a pain pump. I will see my doctor on Monday to talk about it.
