I’m freaking out about this

I was diagnosed with the same type of tumor in 1992. I had surgery @ Mayo Clinic - Rochester, MN. These are benign tumors. Hopefully, it's in a location where it can be removed safely. Have you heard of the American Brain Tumor Association? ABTA.org. Check out their website. As you're navigating through it, write down questions. Lots of questions. Your doctor should be able to answer them. Getting a second opinion wouldn't hurt either. Did your doctor say surgery is required now or is this something that can be monitored? Make sure you trust your doctor. How much experience does he have? How many tumors, like yours, has he removed? Having brain surgery is serious stuff! I'll watch for add'l posts from you.
