@inavarrete89, periosteal chondrosarcoma is a rare sarcoma and often hard to diagnose. I can imagine you and your husband's journey has had it's challenges. Was the cancer limited to the tibia? How is recovery going?

Hi Colleen!

It has definitely been a journey. This is not something anyone expects and especially at 35 years old.
Thank God limited it was limited to the tibia.
Muscle tissue and skin graft appear to be healing well. However, he is non weight bearing for at least three months and slowly getting some movement back in his toes and foot we are hopeful he will make a full recovery but only time will tell.
