I don’t have implants. I had a pea sized lump found in a routine mammogram. No symptoms. The biopsy was positive for breast cancer. They then discovered I had the BRCA2 mutation. Had a double mastectomy in 2011. Please get it checked out. It could be a cyst, but best not to guess. Better safe than sorry as they say.
I had this happen in January. I have implants and I felt a lil lump.i went to the dr and it is a cyst. I just had another sonogram last month and it is smaller.
Good luck to you
I found my lump myself and it was about a pea size lump......maybe a little bigger. It wasn't going away and it scared me so I went to my Dr. for a biopsy and sure enough........it was cancer. Please don't mess around with that. Get it looked at and taken care of. Better safe than sorry.................

I found a pea size lump as well approx 8 months after both a mammo and US. Ended up an aggressive ER PR negative Her2 Positive cancer. I have D density breasts and feel it was not seen by radiology. DO your breast exams and don’t rely on just mammo, especially with dense breasts. If you can afford it do an MRI yearly as well! It’s already in 2 lymph nodes and I’m facing chemo for at least 5 months, then mastectomy and radiation. I’m grateful to my Nurse Practitioner that she took it seriously and sent me for another US and Mammo. ( she survived breast cancer herself). Don’t let anyone say “its just a cyst” get tested!!
Yes. I posted about the same thing recently. I had an ultrasound and the surgeon met with me. It was a cyst. But you should have it checked out!
Thank you for responding. Did they say the cause? Are cyst common after implants? They just leave it there?
I don't have implants. I had a double mastectomy in 2014. If it is a cyst they leave it there unless it is causing pain or problems.

I spoke to my breast surgeon's office today. My apt is in a few days. Thank you for the responses. ❤️
Good to hear. Prayers for a good result.

Thank you! Did it feel like it was in your implant? And did it move around?
