PCOS and Endometriosis

Posted by kmr756 @kmr756, Aug 31, 2024

Hi! I hope all is well! I was diagnosed with Endo about 2 years ago through a laparoscopy. I was also diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16. Latley I have been dealing with a lot of pelvic pain, hormone problems, eating too much. I am now diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but am not loosing any weight even though I am doing everything the doctors said: workout, change diet. Now I have to get a second surgery for Endo.
Any ideas on what to help in the meantime before surgery after surgery?

Best suggestion for now is to follow your provider's suggestions. It can be frustrating when you do not see results right away. By you post, I see your dealing with multiple medical issues and that can make it harder to resolve problems.

I had endometriosis, first diagnosed at 18. I struggled with it for years. Multi surgeries and finally had hysterectomy at 40.

What type of surgery is planned for your endometriosis and when?
