I’m 23 I have severe pcos, drs want me in peri menopause what are the risks I’m worried.
I had surg for it last April. They are having difficulty stop my period w various birth controls. I’m worried about the risk

It seems they want to hormonally put you in perimenopause to help manage your PCOS. Read more here:

I understand that this can be reversed hormonally but you should understand the risks for this treatment. When I was going to do IVF, they prescribe injectable hormones to put you in early menopause they they reverse this and then give you high amounts of hormones to cause multiple eggs/follicles to be released so they can be harvested for IVF creation of embryos.
