Parasite
I have a friend that has been fighting a bird parasite for years. He has become a host to the parasite and cannot get any help to medicate and kill the parasite. Can you advise?

3 Reactions...gosh never heard of this before... is it caught from a bird or from eating bird meat such as partridge etc?
I second the infectious disease specialist recommendation. And maybe a tropical disease specialist depending upon the bird species and diagnosis. My brother picked up a parasite on vacation in the tropics, likely from under-cooked fish, and it wreaked havoc on his health until finally correctly diagnosed and treated. He was spared losing a kidney and severe liver damage so these things can get serious fast.
