Do I have Pancreatitis?
Have had CT abdomen, it showed possible mild pancreatitis. MRI showed possible mild pancreatitis, EUS showed chronic pancreatitis. Amylase 34. Lipase 104, 149 and 69. No symptoms of pancreatitis. Have pancreatic divisium and been on Omneprazole for 16 years. Do I have pancretitis.?

I have been in the hospital for pancreatitis. Now that pain in my back has come back. Our car is broke down and I have no insurance. I also have type 2 diabetes. Do I have to go back to the ER to get effective treatment? The doctor said that the Metformin I was taking gave me the pancreatitis, then when they let me go home, I couldn't afford the Jenovia they prescribed me. So the health department put me back on Metformin, and now I'm in pain! What can I do?
Is anyone on Pancrease, and how are you doing with it?
No, but will address it with my doctor. I haven't taken any antibiotics, but you never know. Thank you!
No fever!
Have you been checked for c. diff?
Thanks hope u find out pancreati this or not do u have a fever they say u have a fever e pancreatitis it's hard having symptoms and not knowing.
Thank you. Hoping I won't end up with diabetes, but if I do I will consult an endocrinologist.

Hello @harper7745,
I am glad that your current blood sugar numbers are normal, but I can certainly understand your concern about diabetes given that you have a problem with your pancreatitis. After your next MRI, you might consider a consultation with an endocrinologist. These doctors specialize in diabetes and other hormone-related problems. They are generally brilliant people. I think of them as the IT doctors of the body.
