Pain after right hemicolectomy: Diagnosed with appendix cancer
I had a right hemicolectomy at the end of June after having right lower quadrant pain. I was diagnosed with Appendix cancer after the surgery. I have been experiencing more pain in my right side recently. It’s very similar to the pain I had prior to the surgery. My blood work from the oncologist looks good; tumor markers are low. I notice the pain more when I move a certain way or after working out. Is this just part of my normal recovery? I’m just not sure how much pain I should expect or when I should be concerned.

Are you receiving any additional treatment post surgery?
How're you doing? Did you figure out a cause for the pain? I'm wondering how all these folks are doing who asked questions. I have a similar pain that seems to have worsened after my appendectomy surgery.
