Does anyone have any information on Osteocalcin numbers and what they mean? And do you want them to be low or high? Im so confused with what I am reading.

@readhead1226, Here is some information I found that hopefully explain what the numbers mean.
"Doctors use the osteocalcin test to monitor bone-associated disorders and diseases or check how well bone-building therapy is working. Don’t take biotin for at least 12 hours before the test." --- Osteocalcin Test: Low & High Levels & How to Improve: https://labs.selfdecode.com/blog/osteocalcin-test/
I know test results can be a little disconcerting if you read through all of the technical medical descriptions. It would be a great question to discuss with your doctor who ordered the test. Have you had the test and are trying to understand the results?
Yes I had the tests and wont meet with my doctor until next month when I do my new DEXA scan. I just finished 12 months of evenity and hoping for some improvement.
redhead1226, did you ever get any answers from your doctor regarding your osteocalcin blood test? I had the test about 2 weeks ago but when I saw my endocrinologist today he really didn’t do a very good job explaining where my osteocalcin level should be.
