Octreotide shots

What type of NETs do you have? Are you currently taking the shots and having issues?
I have lung NETs and DIPNECH and the octreotide shots have been life changing for me taking away the chronic cough, mucus issues and reducing shortness of breath that I had dealt with for decades. Best of luck yo you.

I have NET’s I was originally diagnosed with poorly differentiated and had surgery to have it removed in 2023. I recently found out that the cancer came back but this time it’s well differentiated in my right lung and shoulder. I have been on the shots for the past 5 months and unfortunately they haven’t worked for me. They started me on Evorolimus oral pills 3 weeks ago but still plan to continue to give the Octreocide injections.
