Occasional projectile vomiting

Posted by fdixon63 @fdixon63, Aug 10, 2022

My husband normally has a cast iron stomach. About 6 months ago he began to have symptoms of abdominal bloating, pain, sweating and eventually will have projectile vomiting. After vomiting he recovers quickly. He went to his GP who did blood work and said they did not detect any issue, i.e. gallbladder. I don't think blood work is enough to properly diagnose his situation. Has anyone out there experienced these symptoms? Thanking in advance.

Hi @fdixon63, I think I'm with you on thinking blood work may not pinpoint what is going on to cause your husband's symptoms. Here's some information I found on the topic and possible causes.

Have you considered getting a second opinion?

Thanks for your insight and information. Yes, I think actually getting an appt. with a GI doc is in order. Will see if the others you indicated will let me hear their experiences. Faye
