No feeling in foot

Posted by meatheads @meatheads, 11 hours ago

I had an episode that caused my right foot up to the ankle go dead to the touch. This lasted 20 minutes and gradually went away. There were no tingling or pin like feelings as with it coming back from falling asleep. Anyone experience this?

Hi @meatheads, I haven't felt that kind of feeling in my foot but I have in my arms during the night depending on which side I'm sleeping on. If I have my arm in an awkward position it will sometimes fall asleep and the feeling can either be like you describe or it can also be with tingling which will go away once I change positions and move my arm a little. It sounds similar to paresthesia which can also be transient (temporary) - https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/symptoms/24932-paresthesia.
